Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Evening all,

Myself and 2 mates are hoping to head to South America, most likely the end of June/ beginning of July!
We want to go to Machu Picchu in Peru, but other then that I'd like to hear what you guys recommend.
I work for Lufthansa, so can fly with them to either Bogata, Caracas, Sao Paulo or Rio with them for half nothing and then head towards Peru.

We could fly into Bogata and out of Caracas or something like that. I know 3 weeks isn't a massive amount of time, so any sort of an itinerary you could suggest would be great!!

    Cheers for reading!

i hope its just macchu pichu you want to see and not do the whole inca trail because by the looks of things the passes for the trails are all sold out till sept (http://www.perutreks.com/inca_trail_to_machu_picchu.html). you can still get the train to aguas calientes and go there straight for a day trip.

we did a lot in our 6 weeks there, would recommend cusco, la paz, buenos aires, iguazu falls and rio. fly as much as you can too since you don't have too much time.
