I haven't left this house since I came home from work on Friday evening at 5. I've done nothing but watch TV and eat.

Probably 4 days when I was sick. More than that and I get cabin fever.

I don't want to turn into little Edie from grey gardens who rarely left her **** covered, raccoon infested mansion in the hamptons. When the next owner was cleaning the house they only found the remain of 54 dead cats.

It's a pity Aung San Suu Kyi isn't on Boards.

She'd win this competition by a long shot.

Three days a couple of weeks ago...pretty convinced I was close to insane by the last one. Felt like a complete weirdo when I rejoined the outside world

I'd say Thursday. I went out earlier for 15 minutes. That's a bit of a record, being in the house that long. No job, finished college, I'm going stir crazy. I remember during study week in college I stayed in for about three days. Had to go for a walk to break the monotony.

Can't believe it took 18 months for the council to fit a ramp on the nuclear steps!

Years ago I worked and lived in Munich. I was sharing an apartment with another lad I worked with. We lived on the 3rd floor and I arrived home on Thursday evening of a long weekend. I wasn't due back at work till Tuesday. I went out Thursday nite and got stupid drink and lost my keys but my mate was home and so let me into the apartment that night but when he got up the next morning to go to work and then head away that evening for the weekend he forgot I had no keys and locked me in! We had no phone and this was 1989 so no mobiles etc. I tried to get the attention of sine people on the street but no one spoke English and my German was limited so I checked the fridge and cupboards and we had plenty of food so I watched ****e German tv and a few videos until Monday night when my mate arrived back.

I'm not putting the lotion in the basket.

I've been down a well for months but it's okay because I'm wearing roller-skates and being doused by a sprinkler.

Didn't feel well one Saturday after breakfast, so went back to bed, woke Tuesday. That was a lovely Chinese dinner afterwards.

Banged my head in the first big snow, so only went out once in a week and a bit.

Just over a week when I had the swine flu. I didn't want to move never mind go outside the first few days but when I started feeling better I was fit to murder someone to go outside.

Essentially the same here, but with added Tomb Raider and Game Of Thrones and a trip to the garage. This is the longest stretch I can recall of not leaving the grounds, other than stays caused by medical conditions.

Had a couple of cataract operations a few years ago, each of which had me housebound for most of a week.

Not so much since things picked up for me college and work wise.I did love staying in for 2 or 3 days at a time.I still need that at least once a month.Love my own company, watching tv shows, playing vid games and my drums.Of course big amounts of food can be involved in these days in as well.I like feeling like there isn't a world outside my window sometimes.

    I get cabin fevery too.

Thing is, I don't see needing to go out and about for fresh air as not relaxing. You're still not as rushed as you are during a work day, and can potter around at your own pace. Everyone relaxes in their own way!
