Have my farm visit done, but going for walkabouts to get some photos tomorrow. Is it a good idea to have myself in the photographs to make them more authentic looking?

It's a very good idea. I wish I did more of it, of about 70 photos I'm only on 3 or 4. Altough your teacher/examiner will see they were taken by you, it's always nice to be present in some, it further verifies you did have some sort of farm experience.
