Need the name of a type of pistol holster

I'm currently using a strike arms drop leg holster for my pistols. However today I saw a few guys at Redbarn with drop leg holsters where their pistol clicked into the holster, I.e. there was no Velcro strap holding the pistol in place like mine and they appeared to be able to quick draw much faster. However they had all gone off early and so I didn't get a chance to ask what the holsters were called and where they got them.

Anyone know what I'm talking about and if so, where would I get one? Finally would the pistol be secure in these holsters as I wouldn't want to lose one of my TM pistols that cost a couple of hundred euro.

Serpa holsters.

Real ones on www.blackhawk.com and reproductions can be found on most of the Chinese websites. The only disadvantage with them is each holster is for a specific model of gun so if you have three different models you need three different holsters. A major advantage of serpas is when it's in the holster there's no pressure on the magazine release which means less time wandering around looking for lost pistol mags. I've had a couple of clone ones from ebairsoft and have never had a pistol fall out.

Not all TM's fit genuine blackhawk serpa's, mauri's tend to be a few millimeter's wider than there real steel equivalent ,

Thanks guys. I've three pistols, TMP226, TM1911MEU and a CZ75, the last one will be put up for sale shortly as while its a nice pistol, it's not in the same class as the other two. So I'll need just the two new holsters. Is ebairsoft a good place to buy from?

there is the one for a 226, There is one on the website for a 1911 but it's for the standard 1911 so not sure if it will fit an MEU.

also try munster airsoft for gear as he is rather cheap aswell i know he has 1911 serpas aswell.
you could also try fobus holsters aswell they work on the same principle of pistol retention using the trigger guard but are mainly based on the hip i have one for my 226 and it fits lovely, there is an extra that can be bought to mount to a molle vest for these and you can adjust the angle for you for utmost comfort and ease
there is also safariland dropleg holsters again real steel but very good money they are made moulded plastic but have a loop over the back of the hammer that you can flick away as you grab your pistol, the unique thing about these pistol holsters is that they allow for light attachments in some of their models if you like running a tac light
