If you like wine - tassie has excellent Pinot noir - so maybe a wine tour - on the east coast port arthur and bay of fires are excellent places - west side went to strathan and went dune bugy tour and kayaking around a lake up there

Beautiful spot but no party town.

MONA, Mt Wellington, Salamanca place, Lark distillery, Cadbury for cheap chocolate and/or tour (it's okay, not brilliant) in Hobart.
    Mt Caddle?
Did you mean Cradle Mountain? Hike around the lake St Clair, some mountain hiking and try canyoning with Cradle Mountain canyons.
Swansea would be closest town to Wineglass Bay, it's a nice hike up and come back the other way along the beach by Promise Bay.
You could try and see Richmond on the way through from Hobart if you have time and head further north to Oatlands. Both are pretty and have quite a few historical buildings.

GO to Wine Glass Bay and do the hike/walk to the top of the mountain. Great views.

    From memory its near Swansea.

And eat early. Don't go out and have a drink then decide on food! We were caught once and all the restaurants all closed at 7:30 or so!
