Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was never into anything zombie untill I was introduced to the walking dead recently, and I love it!
I'm up to date on all the episodes now so I'm thinking that I'd like to watch some zombie movies to keep me entertained.
Anyone have any good ones to recommend? Nothing too gory though or I won't be able to sleep. :o

The vast majority of zombie films are pretty terrible in my opinion, although I'm hard to please.

Most are gore filled shoot em ups, replaying the same story over and over again in a different location. The only one off the list I think is a genuinely good film is dead girl. It brings a new level of creepy to zombie films, that and 28 days later.

The best, worst zombie film I've watched is zombie genocide. It's a no budget Irish film from the 90s. At first it just seems really, really bad and you probably have to be in the right state of mind to enjoy it but it's a great laugh.

if we're talking about someone who has never watched anything from the genre before
    my first recommendation would be
    Shaun of the dead
    then
    la horde
    then 28 days
then night of the living dead

    that should be a decent
    t introduction

I would recommend shaun as a great movie, but there are some subverted zombie conventions in that movie that you would need to be familiar with to fully appreciate. So if you know nothing about zombie movies then you wouldn't 100% 'get' the zombie jokes. Definitely watch it, but in the reverse order of that list.
