Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Annulment register?

    Hi,
    where would someone be able to get a copy of a past state annulment?
    Or a annulment decree?
    Would the R.S.O. hold that information, or would one have to go to the courts where annulment was received?

    It's a court order; you'd have to go to the records court that made the order. So far as I know annulments are not registered with the General Register Office.

    If by "annulment decree" you mean a Catholic church tribunal decree, then the records would be kept by the tribunal. But they would treat them as confidential; unless you are one of the spouses in the annulment proceedings it's unlikely that they would give you a copy of the decree, or any other information about the case.

    After thinking about it, I remember we were in Dublin, on the Liffey, as I found out now this has to be the Four Courts.
    I have the names, date;
    can just anyone ask for a copy of the court order, or do they need to be of legal profession?
    The costs?
