Two things... while we wait.

1. Why is there two threads on boards.ie for the 2014 ICE? Is everybody here active in both?

2. Someone asked a Parliamentary Question this morning to the Tánaiste about the opening date of the ICE (was it one of ye!). The reply will be 'we cannot comment on that as that is a matter for the Canadian government'. The reply will be made available on the Oireachtas website later today or tomorrow, ill copy the answer here if people want.

they give you some time to pay within, I remember last year when BOI stopped letting people pay online through 365 (they found it suspicious a lot of money was being deposit into this one account) whereas I had to go into the AIB branch and lodge the amount into the iec account, retain a photocopy of the entire slip as proof for upload, hope its a lot easier this year for people.

The two existed prior to my becoming a moderator anyway. I've been thinking of merging them... Does anyone have any objections to that?

Guys...This is the facebook page for the Canadian Immigration Center.

People are asking there all the time and the employees don't have much more information themselves.

A few posts back, one of the employees posted a wall message that it's "Administration disputes" as one of the reasons why they've been delayed.

yeah ican has nothing to do with it infairness . plus they were that were told it was unnoffically gonna open in december and well then about a month ago was told that the opening was imminent there being spun porkys too. so id take there posts with a pinch of salt . until its offically announce on the the iec page then ill believe it.

Yea I had planned on going last year but other things came up. Now I'm sitting about this year and nothing is appearing.
