Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

is there a list of what is approved on the Irish disability allowance benefit?
Am enquiring for a friend who has just been diagnosed with Crohns and is unable to work as a result of the ilness for some time now and most likely wont for some time due to the treatment regime she has been told she will have to go through.
    thanks.

No there isnt a list. If shes making a claim for Disability allowance i would advise her to complete the form and ask the specialist dealing with her Crohns to include a report. She should also add a letter from herself explaining how the Crohns prevents her from looking for or being available for work. Do not presume that a diagnosis of Crohns or anything else for that matter automatically qualifies a claimant for DA. There is also a means test applied.
