Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Automotive/Transport Jobs in Christchurch - and the cycling scene!

    Hi guys,

So i'm considering moving to Christchurch in September on a one year visa, with my gf and hopefully two other friends.

In general how easy/difficult is it to get a job in Christchurch? I'm not expecting massive money, the consensus on these threads seems to be that $25 an hour is really the minimum needed

I have a degree in automotive management and soon to be another one in transport operations and logistics. Just hoping someone could give me advice on the generally scene for jobs in car dealerships, logistics companies or vehicle rental companies?

On another note I've experience as a bicycle mechanic which could be used as a backup of last resorts, any advice on the cycling scene in Christchurch? How popular/ many shops etc.

    Thanks in advance :)

    TheBikeGuy
