    Hi

I have a scan disk 16GB USB which I have downloaded movies too and it plays fine on my laptop. However when I plug the USB into my TV it wont read the movies. TV is fine because I have another USB that works fine with it.

Do I need to format the USB and how do I do this?

    Thanks in advance

Can the TV see that the movies are there, but won't play them, or can it not see them?
If it can see them (filenames) its probably a codec/format issue
Otherwise check what filesystem is on stick, FAT32 is best for compatability for TYVs and PS3s etc. Right click drive in explorer, choose properties to check which filesystem. Rightclick and choose format if it isnt FAT32.
Formatting will erase your data ....
