Heres some shots i took in Listowel while on a run last Sunday. The car park could well have been a carpark in the early 80s. It worked out perfectly as there was no modern tin parked there apart from a stray Megane which i have edited out, also there was a good few original reg'd cars parked beside each other to really look authentic.
Bash on some effects to give to look of the old slide pictures and Voila!

Very nice! But how did I miss that? Was it a regular meet of some sort?

If that was taken in Ireland during the 80's, most of the cars would have dirt up to their waistline, a few would be leaning down on one side due to collapsed suspension and nearly all would be basic 1.1L or equivalent.:D
    Maybe in the UK.

They need coat hanger aerials for authenticity.

Where was the stray Megane? You did a great job on editing it out as I can't pinpoint where it would have been!!

Lol, Indeed this is very true, Its not exactly that accurate! I just thought the layout was great as the cars arent all arranged in neat rows like at a show and they are mostly pretty ordinary enough cars.

Id say the owners would have gotten just a bit upset with me if i had tried to rough up their cars for the pictures!

It was a run organised by the Duhallow vintage club. The lunch break was in Listowel.

The Megane was on the right of the first picture. i just clipped out the side of it so it was out of shot, sadly lost a Triumph Dolomite though in the process too...:(

Heres another two i forgot last night with extra photoshopping...:)
