The last guy you want to throw the ball, Matawalu is lightning. Such a shame that we're gifting points like that, it's been a good performance otherwise.

Why not just sink your boot into it there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 967 ✭✭✭Anatidaephobia

It's only ROG, he's not going to actually do any harm...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Shocking descion, why would a team give away a penalty on there own scrum?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,818 ✭✭✭Tigerandahalf

BJ is becoming a weak link, always giving away soft penalties.
    Keatley should be at 10.

Williams is the worst scrumhalf I've seen in a fair few years. His pass is high and floaty and he takes about four steps to actually get it away.

Pitch looks like a ploughed field.

Botha playing himself out of the Munster team for next week.

The picture on Tg4 is absolutely brutal, looks like someone is filming with their phone ffs.

His opposite number is pushing him all the way. Good rugby player, awful scrum half.

Is Botha with Munster again next year?
Wouldnt fancy this Munster lineup next weekend?

I don't think I have ever seen a worse player in red. I don't even bother giving out when he fecks up during a match. I would lose my voice.

I'm watching it on BBC Alba, better pic and the commentary isn't any worse than tg4...

He's not giving away a fraction of the penalties he's getting pinged for. What we're seeing is a lot of average Pro12 refs bluffing at srcums this season. There has unfortunately become a trend of 'BJ's cheating all the time' decisions from refs who are clearly out of their depth.

He should move to France or England as there's almost no sympathy for technical scrumagers in the Pro12.

Just when Williams is having a decent game, he gifts a try. Laulala's intercept just sums him up; no brains.

Hmmm, it seems BJ is getting more than his fair share though.
Unless the secret referees club have decided something.

I would disagree. He's constantly infringing as far as I'm concerned. Not sure what's happened to him.

He does cheat though. He is a small guy and he constantly tries to burrow across instead of scrummaging straight.

It hasn't been announced yet. The smart money is saying that he won't be with Munster next season since he wants a 2 year deal and Munster/IRFU are only willing to offer a one year deal. To be honest I think that if Munster were looking for a NIQ prop they could get one better than how Botha is performing at the moment for a fraction of the cost.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,698 ✭✭✭Risteard

I'd have Archer ahead of him atm.......

Thanks I heard what the ref said as well.

There is onous on the LH to stay square as well. The fact that Grant is chewing dirt a full second before Botha gives you an idea where the problem really is.

Ya agree. Missing out on Afoa was a big loss. What about the THs playing in Scotland. Their scrums seem solid.

to think that Ulster got Afoa for less than Munster are paying Botha (only slighty and that may have changed with the exchange rate but still)

Both Scotish clubs have four good props. Two on either side of the scrum. Their scrums are pretty decent all right.
