    What date of the month is rental allowance paid ?

    We get a receipt on a Monday normally but got it today. Just a receipt as our landlord gets the actual cheques.

    so if tenant is getting cheque when would that have been received ?

    A Friday. A lot of people collect theirs at the post office though on Friday and this is what we did at the beginning. Saves a lot of hassle having it sent directly to landlord/agents.

    It's paid a week in advance as far as I know so next weeks paid yesterday

    Rent supplement is paid in arrears, not in advance.
