Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it going to take a Sunderland goal before Valencia is taken off?

United just gone over 600 PL mins without conceding did not realise it was that long.

They are spending an awful lot of time nitpicking on one player in this game.

RVP shouldn't be getting caught offside there!

    Ouchy for Buttner.

Sunderland getting the marginal decisions this half.

That was an awful tackle from Bardsley.

With Young and Valencia being seven shades of shíte, he takes off Kagawa, fantastic.

Right foot rasper from Butters. Was going wide anyway but still good to force the save.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,772 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

Yup, he should have been the link between defence and attack but he just looked knackered.

Was a poor pass by Young to Rvp after he did all the hard work .

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,222 ✭✭✭✭Will I Amnt

Made unnecessarily hard work of that. RvP didn't look too sharp again. F**k it, 3 points is all that mattered.
Newcastle to do us a favour later and seal the deal...

Auld Butters was fecking brill today.

Great squad player to have and if he was to play like that constant could be a proper player for United.

Carrack great also controlled the game when needed. Smalling also considering hes played twice for England had a very good game.
Valancia has turned into a right back that likes to pop up up front every now and again.

I think to be honest we could of had more goals and let Sunderland back into it more then they should of been allowed.

On another day if goals where needed i reckon we could of had three or four.

Anyway three points all that matters and fairly comfortable game apart from the odd signs of falling asleep that we tend to do.

Hopefully be sign of things to come and we get a similar result on Monday :D

Nice 3 points and never really looked like conceding even though Sunderland had majority of possession in the second half.

Carrick motm again by a country mile. Smalling, despite my reservations before kick off was fantastic as was Vidic and Evans was top notch too when he came on.
Anderson was poor again IMO in the centre. Surely his time is up?

Valencia, although he was poor again overall, I though there were signs that he seem to at least have a bit of his confidence back. Ran with the ball at pace and took on his man on numerous occasions. I know he wasn't successful a lot of the time and I may be grasping but I thought there were encouraging signs.

Thought Young on the other side was poor, made some awful decisions on the ball.

Oh yeah and finally, what the **** is Martin Tyler's problem with De Gea? He seems to have some sort of agenda against him. I've no problem with De Geas weakness under the high ball being questioned but he just seems to be going on and on about him and questioning whether he would be there long term.

At least you didn't have to listen to Macca and that other one.
