    With brighter evenings, longer days and the smell of freshly planned festivals in the air, its time once again to embrace another exciting Irish Summer and all of the glorious possibilities and good times it brings. So as the calender fills up and festival season falls upon us, renowned all day party and club night MONGO are delighted to announce that they too will take to the road and head for the hills, as the arrival of a brand new festival outing is announced - MONGOs MONSTER DAY OUT! This Bank Holiday Saturday May 4th.

    Without doubt one of the biggest success stories seen in Dublin clubbing over the past 2 years, with a string of memorable sell out parties in Dublin’s Pod & Grand Social venues and with an almost over-night cult following - MONGO has been responsible for some of the finest daytime club outings Dublin has seen in recent times. With an all star cast and a superb new surroundings the newest incarnation MONGO's MONSTER DAY OUT will be the first all day electronic music and arts festival of Summer 2013 and boasts a stellar line up of artists from both home and abroad.

    Taking place in the magical surroundings of Poulaphouca House and Gardens in Co Wicklow, just 50 mins outside Dublin City, MONGO's Monster Day Out will encompass 3 areas of music that includes an Indoor Arena, Pub Club and Covered Garden Party as well as an intimate tipi village and chil lout area with live graffiti, experimental music lab, various creative installations and more. The line up includes some of the biggest international DJs in the world and an array of home grown heroes.

    Tickets for this all day event are priced at a very reasonable €39 +BF and are available online from both Resident Advisor and Tickets.ie.     TRANSPORT

    Buses will be in operation throughout the day from Dublin city centre and will leave Georges Quay (beside Tara st Dart Station) hourly from 11.30am on Saturday morning. Buses will return from Poulaphuca to the city centre from 11pm onwards. Return bus tickets are priced at €10 and can be purchased from expressbus.ie by following the link below - http://tinyurl.com/MongoBusTickets

    Alternatively you can travel via bus or Luas to City West or Blessington and take a short taxi to Poulaphuca House & Gardens. Easy! Please note the recommended mode of transport is the buses provided to ensure you get there and back as easily as possible.

    Please note THIS IS NOT A BYOB EVENT!! Everyone will be required to undertake a full search on arrival and ALL ALCOHOL will be confiscated before you enter the grounds! The venue has two large bars and offers a full bar including various drink promotions on the day! Please DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL - unless you want it confiscated!
