Do you know whether its possible to entend the number of Ethernet ports on a UPC modem? Kinda like a HDMI switch or an USB hub?

You just need an Ethernet switch. :) Shouldn't be too expensive either.

Just get a network switch, very easy to setup. I got a tp link switch from amazon for about €10.

Essentially its like an extension lead, everything comes from the upc modem.

Depending on what speeds you currently get from UPC then you might wanna get a GB swiitch rather than 10/100mb switch.

No point in hooking up a 10/100 switch and bringing down the speeds of your LAN if you're getting a 120 mb supply from UPC, or intend to in the future.
