Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

www.autotrader.co.uk/ni will get you to the NI site. Select bikes from the list on the upper right of the screen

Don't forget donedeal and buyandsell, both used by private sellers in the North.

in general they are in vg condition - and low mileage ...

i have to disagree with you... most of the poeple buying are importing bikes from UK, and if you also check the donedeal - you need just reg and go to motorcheck - free and it iwll tell you UK imported if so. around 80% of bikes are imported from Uk/Ni, if you are right then i ask why is that?

you are right, people buy bikes there because they are generally in better nick maybe lower mileage (not sure about that), and there is certainly more choice, but if you can find a similar bike here it will be cheaper, especially when you factor in currency differences and commisison, vrt, travel/delivery and vat if buying a newish bike.....uk dealers buying nicest irish bikes selling em over there, especially sportbikes, says it all really. a small percentage of irish bikers actually keep their bikes in very good condition, you just gotta wait until they come up for sale.

btw have you got any tips where to look for bike in north? even for d price comparation? :)))

General rule of thumb is that majority of bikes are better spec in the north but more so in the UK, same applies to cages aswell. I might be heading to PhillipMcCallon Motorbikes this week to test ride a bike Ed.

I let you know what the stock is like....

    Nah, not my style Ed.

I want to get a Triumph Tiger 1050SE....but he only has one in stock and its not the SE model and its pricey. There are alot more in the UK with lower milage and cheaper. So I could be tempted to head to the UK.....;)
