Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did I just make a match thread?

Anyway hard to predict. There for Liverpool if they turn up.

Bib theory says that Couthino and Sturr are benched after last match.

4/1 about Villa looks very tempting, although liverpool rarely put two bad performance back to back.

    No!

You know the chances of Liverpool losing this game have just increased about 10 fold thanks to your intervention?!.

Reckon the heads will be down after throwing away the league a few weeks ago, good time for Villa to pick up some points.

    4-0 Villa.

Severe lack of fancy sh*t that doesn't add anything to the thread in the OP either. :pac:

Beating Liverpool today would help with that.

Feels like ages since we had a game! Looking forward to this, hard to know which Liverpool will show up, at the very least it's entertaining.

Just saw on facebook that Gerrard is 7/1 to score first with PP I think.

Gonna be a good game, one team needs to win for a chance of European football, the other in a relegation dog fight , both teams will be disparate for points. Pool seem to always put on a good performance whenever they're humiliated so I'll go 3-0 to Liverpool.

Villa: Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar [c], Baker, Bennett, Westwood, Bannan, Sylla, Agbonlahor, Weimann, Benteke.

normally I'd say Liverpool, and Suarez, will have more than enough to overwhelm Villa.

but Villa are fighting hard, we didn't stand up well to a fighting Southampton side, and I'd say it'll be a close game.

Lucas, Henderson and Gerrard in the middle is a good start though.

Carragher in to deal with Benteke should make a huge difference to Liverpools defence.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,326 ✭✭✭Jason Todd

Yeah, I'll go 3-1 Liverpool, think Henderson will get one and Benteke for Villa.

Any reason for the 1.30 KO on a day when there is only one game scheduled? Seems unusual.

Highlights of yesterdays tennis gets the 4pm slot so doubt its that, and don't think its the sort of game the police would insist on an early ko.

Meh, no big deal I guess, will try to let it not spoil easter :)

Coutinho, yeah. I've taken to calling him 'The Count' since so many others insist on calling him 'Countinho' :P

I had been calling him 'the lollipop' due to his head being too large for his body, but The Count sounds better. :pac:

Moving the ball around well enough, need to see a few better/quicker runs near the Villa box. There is space.

So much for Carra dealing with Benteke....he just bounced off him.

If you're not on Villa yet get on in running. Lambert seems to have Rodgers' teams tactically sussed based on last few meetings of managers and start of this game. Suarez does look leggy too.
