Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Think you may have the United line up spot on there Zerks apart from maybe Cleverley.

RVP to come off the bench if Hazard is after putting us to the sword.

I hope Utd batter Chelsea. Can't stand Rafa.

Think Chelsea's game sat is gona kill us, United have a better all round squad to cope with alot of fixtures.

Chelsea rested most of their key players. I'd expect them to nick it.

Chicharito loves scoring against Chelsea plus our defence has turned into a machine lately,I'm going for 2-0 to United.

Chelsea only have two real key players at this stage, the rest are average imo. Oscar will be good in the future though.

I reckon Chelsea will edge it, its clear that from his personal glory above the best thing for the team motto Benitez has prioritised this game over getting 4th place. Rested plenty of key players and are at home.

United missed the chance to go through in the home game unfortunately I think.

    Hope Im wrong though

    This

I think we blew our chance at home.

In saying that this game could go all the way to Penalty shootout.

Nice to be able to watch a game today.

Makes thinking of work tomorrow bit more bearable.

    No Rooney

What kind of crazy person continues to play Ivanovic at centre back? A fine right back but a hugely mistake prone centre back.

Rest of the team is as you would have thought and hopefully good enough to get a win. If Chelsea are to win today you can bet Eden Hazard will play a big part, he has been in blistering form lately.

No Rooney in the squad is a big surprise. Expected him to start!

    Almost forgot about this game.

Good to see Nani starting. Hazard may well be the difference today.

That some sort of April fool line up?

Hernandez 2/1 anytime, or 7/1 first goalscorer looks appealing. Loves scoring against Chelsea.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Rooney has a groin injury apparently.

Put a few pound on that 7/1... great odds for the small little man :pac:

    Valencia?

Ten men again, just like Saturday.

Chelsea to take this one by a goal or two.

He wasn't that bad on Saturday and showed glimpses of his old form, plus he still offers a decent defensive display even when off form.

10 men bollix is old at this stage.

wtf does Nani need to do to get a start though?

A decent defensive display from a Manchester United Winger is all well and good, but not when that same winger is offering absolutely nothing going forward.

It's a stupid XI, especially given what's on the bench.

It's not United's strongest available eleven, and it should - all focus should be on this FA Cup with the league wrapped up, instead there is some foolish anti-Nani behaviour going on.

But Nani is starting today. Surely that's a pro-Nani move?

Anyone think Welbeck could be on the left with Nani playing centrally?

I've put money on Nani to score today with this thinking, along with the fact he'll likely be taking all set pieces. If we get a penalty today, you'd imagine Nani will be the one to step up for it...

It's a team that will cover the ground I suppose. Even with his bad form this'll be Valencia's 3rd game in a week so I'd be a bit worried about that, he was better than Young on Saturday anyway. A team like that could definitely be exploited by the skill of that Chelsea team though with a lot of naivety going to be on show I'd say. Need another big game from Carrick.

I'd like to see that. Think himself and Welbeckwill be fairly interchangeable today.

Not really, Nani is a left and right winger.

Ah, was confused with your post due to the opening line 'Wtf does Nani need to do to get a start though?'

Guessing you were talking generally there. So I'm guessing you'd like to see Nani on the right wing and Young on the left wing for league games?

As much as I hate feeding into the speculation, Fergie looked really insincere when describing Rooney's absence.

Also, awkward moment when Lee Dixon talks about players who've crossed Fergie before and cops that it's Keano sitting beside him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,389 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

After all that Nani is on the right :pac:

    great pass Nani.

Valencia RB? Nani central or right wing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Valencia at right back Jones in the centre of midfield with Cleverley on the left and Nani on the right. A little strange.

Few too many players out there who haven't been playing much recently. Chico, Nani and Cleverly don't seem to have their touch.
