Finally got a day of all winners!
Ok that should help kick-start the log. I also wanted to include the Nationals and White Sox (had the latter on the betslip) but didn't want to have so many selections when I haven't been getting the wins and didn't fancy the form or matchups! However both of those also won the 1st half betting so it was just one of those days where everything fell right. (Hope that's not aftertiming, just to note I didn't actually place a bet on either of those, they were just on my list)

Only 5 games tonight and only 1 bet takes my fancy so I'm going to trim my bank down to an even €140 by betting the following:
€21 on Baltimore Orioles 1st Half Match Betting v Blue Jays (odds posted by 4pm) ***ADDED @ 59/50
Reason being that I'm intrigued by Kevin Gausman making his MLB debut for the O's. He's been solid if not exactly stellar in double A so far this year.
Pros:
4th draft pick last year (top pitching prospects tend to do well in first few starts)
Great control, throws strikes for fun with 3 different pitches
49/5 K/BB ratio which proves that
3.11 ERA so far this year which is solid at that level
Against Morrow who has posted over 5 ERA so far
Stellar WHIP of 1.06
Cons
Jays can swing on their day and cause damage
Never pitched above double A before
losing record 2-4 this year
Potential for big league nerves on debut
I orignally said I'd put 11.95 on it up above, but now that I'm going through those pros and looking at his control stats I'm getting more bullish so I'll edit above to €21 staked and I'll stick the €0.95 rounding on my usual 2 or more runs in 9th inning bet - Cubs v Pirates @ 17/4

So that was a loser. I don't like those picks, it was winning 3-2 until bottom of 5th when the O's gave up 2 runs So it was a 4-3 loser.
I'm not having any picks up tonight as there's not enough solid picks, I have a few I want but don't want to be chasing after a couple of bad days.
Off to the east coast tomorrow, getting in 14 live games at least during the next 17 days starting with Indians v Red Sox on Sunday night.
Will be back in mid-June after that scouting!! 0 -
