Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there

As title suggests I am finished my jobbridge internship in next few weeks but I have no job lined up.

What should I do next? Do I have to go to Social Welfare ?

Also does anyone know if its possible to go on a CE scheme after doing a internship?

    Thanks

I would think you should go back to SW. You could also look at doing a springboards course, some of them are very good.

You should notify the Dept of Social Protection that your internship is coming to an end and that you will want your claim to continue (assuming you were in receipt of payment before the internship and not just signing for credits.) You should be allowed time off to do this but you may manage to make contact with your Social Welfare office by phone to inform them. Then on the first working day after your internship go to the SW office to reinstate your claim. If your financial circumstances haven't changed since before the internship your claim should be reinstated seamlessly with payments resuming through the Post Office.
