The fishing in cork is a bit sporadic at the moment. One comp last week was won with 14 and plenty of lads had 7/8 fish, mainly flounders and coalies.
Others are reporting low catches or blanks but a few decent fish are still about if you know where to go and have a little luck

Out again today, along the ring of kerry, started at six spinning for bass and sea trout, no take, but seen a huge sea trout of about four pound just in a channel, he was stuck to the bottom, which proves the temp in the water is still too low, went plugging along different rock marks, hooked three pollack. BUT NO BASS In the end had to settle for a 31 flounder but we will keep trying...

Fishing tomorrow in carrig isalnd in north kerry...

Check out DinglePeninsulaFishing on Facebook for some pics...

yeah there was some great bass fishing last summer but water temps are just too low. Mild weather is coming tho so we live in hope.
