Hi Looking for advice... recently moved into house which has a fairly big garden - 0.6 acre. The garden has until now been what I would call field grass i.e. not lawn. Looking fairly shabby now & uneven so looking for a heads up on how to tackle this. Was hoping to take top grass off with a sod cutter, then somehow level…

Looking fairly shabby now & uneven so looking for a heads up on how to tackle this.
Was hoping to take top grass off with a sod cutter, then somehow level out & sow some lawn seed.
