Need patress box for immersion timer

Bought a Sangamo digital timer switch for the immersion but it's not compatible with (can't be mounted into) the box that the 20 year old Bath/Sink On/Off switch was mounted in. The installation instructions say that I need a 'patress box' for surface mount that's at least 32mm internal depth.

I can see an item called '1 gang socket box' of varying (16/25/47mm) depths in Woodies, will the 47mm deep socket box do the job or do I need to specifically buy a 'patress box' and would I be better off going to an electrical supplier?

The deep woodies box will do fine.

Or a deep dry lining box from electrical wholesalers, which would be cheaper than woodies, if there is the depth in the partition wall for it, which would be a lot neater. If it is a partition stud wall or dry lined one that is.

But the woodies one will work.
