Yeah I think so too! I don't think they will fill Fitzgerald stadium. I thought €15 for a ticket in yesterday was a bit pricey, is it always that much? will it be the same price in Killarney?

The price should be reduced for the replay, probably down to 13 euro

So, I went to the museum in Ashe street today, they've turned the Geraldine experience into a Halloween haunted walk, lots of dark lighting, ghosts, ghoul's and clowns.... It did this old mans heart good to see so many boys and girls come out crying and screaming in terror
    :);)

    Sadist........ :)

Would a 4yr old be too young for that? It sounds good :)

don't know answer sorry, but the rates offices are based in the Ashe Hall ph: (066)7162100/7162151

If you are renting a commercial premises for the first time, I think there may be rate reductions for first year, but I'm not 100% sure, so best to call them & get the right info!

All depends on location as well so there is no 'one size fits all' answer to that question. But a third or so of the annual rent might be a guide.

I'm looking for an old picture taken in the 80s of the square in town, looking towards Quinsworth from the Claude Monte side. There was an old picture about Iv seen, but I can't find it.
    Anyone have it?

Thanks for that. I heard about those rate reductions alright and also the sky high rates people are being shaken down for. I will look into it. Cheers

That was my thinking alright when thinking about going more central. Its the risk of paying higher rent/rates for bringing in more custom

Even going a tiny bit outside the town centre can make a difference to the rates! EG going to Castle St as opposed to the Mall can make a difference in price! I know they 'reduced' the rates this year for the first time in years, but not sure by how much.

The answer to that question depends on the type of outlet involved. If your business is general in nature where access to 'passing trade' is paramount then being located in the streets where footfall is greatest is needed but of course this means much higher rents as well. Whereas if your business is more specialised with a more niche product offering then you can locate in the cheaper areas as customers will be seeking you out instead.

If you give us a better idea on what your selling then we can advise better.

Thought myself it'd be down to a tenner. Apparently only one delegate opposed keeping the price the same. It's an expensive business being a Kerry supporter thats for sure.

U21 Club Championship game on beforehand at 1 too.

apparently that's why it wasn't reduced, because there is another match on before it! doesn't help my pocket! nor do I want to see the match before it!
