there's a new pharmacy opening beside Argos. The Horan centre is getting a lot busier these days and they have spruced up their signage and had Radio Kerry up there yesterday.

Could be a good bit of business if the Festival can buy the hotel and manage to build an events centre as well.

Was up in Horan's North Circular for the first time in a while and I see they have the self service checkouts in - took their time in copying Tesco who must have had them in for 3 years or so at this rate.

well Radio kerry are saying over 3,000 & many more including the journal are saying over 4,000! Definitely not as low as 1,500. It didn't go onto Denny Street. It went down Castle st, up Ashe St, north circular road, down Rock st & into the Square.

It may very well have ended up at those figures, i suppose people would have joined in rte saying 2500 in total, probably more realistic

More like 400 last Saturday. Guess there were more Rocky's marching to the match on Sunday.

Sure if they are not whining about water charges they will find something else to whine about.

" If they have no bread feed them cake ! " Only joking...................:)

Please allow people the right to protest without knocking it! Just a reminder that we are allowed to mention protests here, but if you want to discuss the ins & outs of the protest, then go to the dedicated forum for it! MOD

Nobody knocked the right to protest. As a socialist I actively encourage it. But I stop short at over exaggeration and band wagon jumping

So you personally counted 4000 people Ciarrai ????? LOL

I have no issue whatsoever with people protesting, marching or otherwise. You are being pedantic and overly sensitive.:)
