You can't get skilled people to move to Tralee. There are IT companies in the technology park crying out for people and they can't fill the positions. It's one of the reasons kerry Group are in Naas now.

We'll take good care of the Kerry Group. And if they bring in one or two that can kick a ball, we'll look after them aswell!

Yeah I posted up a link to an article a week or two ago where they were trumpeting opening in Castleisland and a couple of other places but also closing several shops in the Dublin region. I think there is a strategy in xtravision to downscale in areas with great internet service but also upscale in small urbans like Castleisland where internet speeds are still not great. That appears to be the model. And of course that means two units in Tralee is not sustainable so the Manor one is for the chop soon I reckon.

I was in Xtra Vision in Abbey Court yesterday evening & I dont' think I've ever seen it so busy! I was actually queuing in there for the first time in a long time! It was good to see so many in there!
That reminds me, must return the dvd!

If you rented it online you wouldn't have to do that. Save you the petrol money and all! :)

Agree totally, the kiosk was an invaluable addition to the Town last year for both tourists an locals alike. Eddie, one of the volunteers who manned the Kiosk last year is an absolute gentleman and has a phenomenal knowledge of Tralee and its environs. It would be an absolute shame if the kiosk does not return.:)

Good point! Possibly will be out this month? For such a small Kiosk, it was jammers with stuff.

Yea that's true, it's just the hassle of it. If I got anything for it now it'd be a bonus

Might be an option if you can't find something local.

Would it not just be easier to go to a dealer?

I'm only briefly familiar with this, but I know that even where the capacity to have the brakes bled electronically, it may not be necessary to have the system hooked up to a computer to achieve the same result.

Adverts has gone down hill in the last two years. Anytime I put anything on there recently all I've gotten is A) dreamers offering 50-60% of the asking price B) fellas trying to swap stuff they've had listed for months{despite the ad saying NO SWAPS} or C) thread spoilers who will agree a price and then disappear.

Iphone 4 new 8 gig would easily fetch 200

I'd say its the second hand one he's selling? You wouldn't get a new iPhone4 now, they were replaced by the 4S & now the 5.
I only mentioned adverts as I believe it's the only 1 that can be mentioned on here without getting a rap from the mods :)

sorry to weigh in here, what about if it was smashed at the back (not the face), looks bad but still functional.

dropped mine while out last week, 32g but was going to be getting the new xperia this week anyway. how much does it cost to replace the back of it? might do it and then sell it.

just wondering if it's worth fixing and selling

130 to replace it. Apple will not fix it, they will just replace it with a refurbished one.

They are still being sold, retailing for about 400 new for the 8gb model so even second hand, he should have no problem getting decent money back on it. Cash for gold will rob you in comparison to "other popular selling sites' ;)

Go on e bay and buy a replacement back and the set of screwdrivers to remove them. Probably a fraction of the cost!

There on there starting from 4 euro.

That guy in the square is excellent at repairs. If you bought the kit and get him to replace the cover for you!

Cash for gold will only offer a fraction of its worth, fair enough really because they in turn have to sell it on to make a profit. I think if he had sold it 5 weeks ago he would have got more, a lot of Samsung S3 & HTC phones being sold now as the new models have just come.on line, picked up an S3 for €150 last month.

Kinda worried about messing about with opening up the phone, but for €130 quid alternative I reckon I might will.

Could someone show me where the Tralee Thread is? There was one here a few months ago but it seems to have dissappeared.

this is the Tralee thread, minus all the old message as they disappeared when it was being 'tidied' up a few weeks ago, and never restored! neither are all our post counts which decreased dramatically due to it!
