See there's a new entrance now and electronic turnstiles coming to be switched on in the next couple of weeks.

Not just Newbridge; Kildare and Sallins also getting these.

Is the staffed ticket office still staying in the same place?

It is in Kildare. The staffed ticket office window faces into the validation room.

Nope - faces the new validation room in Newbridge too.
Funny thing is the new entrance is miles away from the new pedestrian bridge.

Another question re Newbridge: What about entry from the North side car-park? Validation office on only on the South side.

    Similar issue for Sallins.

Kildare is OK as they sealed off the Up platform access a few years ago and now there's only one entrance.

As regards location of the validation rooms, I think IE were restricted by listed building status on where they could build.

It will be interesting to see what happens on the Hueston side car park. I can't see them closing it off, given that they only did that car park up recently and there's no easy access from the car park to the other side without going onto the platform first.

Brick and glass block structure and ticket validation machines are due to be constructed on the Dublin platform. From the Kildare Co Council website.
