Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shower Mixer leak

    Hi Guys,

Wondering if someone can offer advice on my leaky shower. Basically there is a constant, weak-flow leak of hot water, ONLY when the Immersion is on or has been recently heated. It's causing my Immersion to be constantly active when it's switched on, and thus causing me huge ESB bills.

I live it a very old building, and I have no access to valves etc (they all appear to have been covered up - although I'm still looking)

See picture below (it's just bubbling up at the shower hose connector)

Is it a massive job/total replacement?

Its a simple washer change, If you have no access to valves then its not a DIY job, a plumber could freeze it or just jump it as its inside the cubicle.
