Big thanks to Manchester City for selling Asenjo to me. My current keeper needs some stiff competition.

No bother! He was already on level 3 concern anyway, and I have with Yoel as back up who's only 86 rated so his concerns level shouldn't be an issue.

I guess now I've made a valuable contribution to both ends of your first team after giving you Lima up front! :D:):)

What club would people recommend taking over as I want the balance between a half decent squad and a bit of money in the account?

    Sound
There aren't really many decent squads available, but Gala and Monaco have loads of cash. Some teams in Divvy3 have lots of cash too (Spiders, Leeds, Shels)

Moving up the table in Division 2, up to third now. Am living the dream with my Hearts. Have taken them from a mid/low level team in Division 4 to a team third in Division 2 in only a few seasons. Onwards and upwards.

There's an old saying round are way

"You can never buy anyone in THE GOOD LEAGUE"

And like many other old sayings, it has an element of truth to it. 16 seasons in and pickens are Slim ... however in recent seasons, with the influx of managers from boards, the market has livened up and many good (if not great) players have moved teams. You still get the odd surprise tho. The long standing Chelsea manager recently jumped ship. Thiago Motta is on sale:

    "Everton - £17.9M - Accepted. FC Schalke 04 - £16.2M - Accepted. Paris Saint-Germain - £11.4M - Accepted. AS Monaco - £12.0M - Accepted. "

How though have Everton been able to make the top bid? They have prob one of the top four squads in the game. Shirley teams with weaker squads are usually always able to bid more, no?

Naughton had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.

    Nicely done lads!

Also, the game inadvertently marked the end of Kyle Naughton's City career, after a deal has been struck which sees the talented full back jetting off to Monaco in the search for regular first team football.

WOW! I just saw Rodrigo Lima's statistics:

15 goals (and 2 assists) in 16 appearances, putting in 7 man of the match performances. He's also onlt two behind Diego Costa in the goal scoring charts.

It certainly looks like he's enjoying life since leaving the Etihad. :D:)
