have you sent him a message? would be a big loss alright .. not sure where he came from, but is with us for years

Fabio logged back in two days ago anyway so at least that. :)

Meanwhile, there's a crucial top of the table clash down in Division 4 between the only two managed teams in the division as first placed Arsenal travel to Elland Road looking to preserve their 100% league record. :)

All the pressure is on us as we're clearly the better team on paper!

I did send him a message but not sure how good his English is.
At least he's back now so that's the main ting.

Remarkable result, beating the giants of the division. Will Derry make the play-offs tho?? Or will time run out?!

I won't be able to make the points in 3 games but at least I will have met the Chairmans requirement of not finishing bottom :)

You mean 9 games?  27 points still to play for and a 10 point gap ... It's on!!!

The match ended 1 - 1 between Arsenal and Leeds United in their Division 4 fixture.
Zapata had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.
Delaney was on the scoresheet for his side.

Despite being on a run of two games without a win, Arsenal manage to clinch promotion with 8 games to spare. :pac: :D:)

I think I've just been outbid by 4k for Valentin Eysseric by Dortmund.

    Curse you!

Arsenal outclassed Rangers and beat them 3 - 0 in their Division 4 fixture.
Reyes scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Elneny was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Champions.........Thanks Derry! (although I'm sure you weren't thinking of us when you beat Leeds! :pac:)

Nice to be crowned champions in front of your own crowd though! :)

No worries, just set a club record of 10 wins in a row. Might just make it out of this division yet. From bottom place to promotion in half a season, I'd be effin chuffed!

Congratulations on your promotion, all the best for next season!

Won 12 on the trot, unbeaten in all 17 games in charge and still not quite at the playoff positions!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,079 ✭✭✭circadian

Last match of the season folks.

Division 1 is pretty much decided unless Barcelona lose and Pats go on a 7 goal rampage.

In Division 2 top spots are still up for grabs and Roma could get a lucky streak and get the playoff spot Newcastle currently hold.

Div 3 is done and dusted largely.

In division 4 Derry need to win to ensure a playoff spot after going on a 20 game unbeaten streak and in the middle of a 15 game winning streak.

Took over the mighty celtic, not a great squad but sure we'll give it a go.

GOOD stuff. Few new managers joining lately hoping my dream of a full league can finally be realised!

Arsenal beat Hertha BSC 2 - 0 in their Division 3 fixture.
Germain scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Pléa was also on the scoresheet for his side.

It's so nervy at the top of division three. We're clear by four points, but still have to travel to Derry where they will inevitably close the gap down to 1. That is if it's not closed in the meantime! :pac:

At least it looks like, barring a disaster from either side, that we're both going to be promoted automatically. So at least that's a positive for both sides. :):)

Arsenal slumped to a 2 - 1 defeat against Derry City in their Division 3 fixture.
Germain scored the only goal for Arsenal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

The gap is cut down to one point. My best prediction is that if I can win away to Saint-Etienne we should be able to win it out with wins at thome to Betis and bottom of the table Hearts. Would have been so much easier if we just got something today though.

To be fair though, from a neutral's perspective, Derry probably deserve it more considering they've done the double over us! :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,079 ✭✭✭circadian

I think Arsenal have it, I still have to play Leeds and I expect to lose points there. Unless something goes horribly wrong for you I think you've got the title.

  • Registered Users Posts: 422 ✭✭RickyOFlaherty

Slight wobble at the top of Division 1 with Pats drawing the last game. tough game against Brian's Juve team tonight who we lost to in the last game ... Baz's Barca have Marseilles who he has had some problems with in the past but should be good enough. Gap could be down to one or two points with 2 games to go .. or Barca loss and Pats win would hand the title to Pats ....

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,132 ✭✭✭baza Rakus

Where's the "does not like this post" button??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,079 ✭✭✭circadian

Just seen the mail about prizes and squad caps. Great news all round. I've been wondering how I'll compete in Div 2 since there's so many players tied up in the higher leagues.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 8,576 Mod ✭✭✭✭Wilberto

Finally clinched the title (officially) on the final day. Fair play to Derry for running us all the way.

I feel most sorry for AS Monaco though. 93 points, and still only good enough for the playoffs, with the two teams above them both breaking the 100 point barrier.
