Manchester City beat Ajax 5 - 4 in a penalty shootout after a 1 - 1 draw in their THE GOOD LEAGUE Shield Semi Final fixture.
Gómez was on the scoresheet for his side.

City are going to Mexico where we'll face off against Celta Vigo in the Estadio Azteca, in the final Good League Shield.

It was very tough on Ajax though (although we did have a goal disallowed). They were on top for the vast majority of the game but couldn't take any more of their chances.

Di Natale proved to be quite a shrewd signing.

The club's first major honour. I am probably the best manager this club has ever had. I'm quite proud of that!

FSV Mainz 05 in their SMFA Shield Quarter Final Leg 2 fixture.
Manchester City went through 2 - 1 on aggregate.

In other news, need a manager for Hamburg. Have only jus noticed they are in the process of getting pillaged for their good players. Of course this a natural process, and I'm all for the circle of life, but if anyone wanted to join THE GOOD LEAGUE they would be a good prospect to take over
