Nice one! I've only been in this league for 2 seasons and we've both been promoted each season from the same division!

I'll see you in Division 1!

Thankfully you got promoted ... My origional nemesis has faltered .... You know who you are ;)

I'm still there, just about. It's a difficult division to get out of although I did nearly succeed. I was headed in the wrong direction, down instead of up!!

Too much investment into potential, not enough into established stars :(
Gonna work hard this window and see what I can do.

Have heard this said before, which is why I'm still surprised at going up the first time of asking

The offer for Markel SUSAETA of Athletic Club from Drogheda United has been accepted. The transfer will be completed within the next 24 hours.

The offer for Darijo SRNA of Shakhtar Donetsk from Drogheda United has been accepted. The transfer will be completed within the next 24 hours.

Another 90 in. Gomis heading out. He's grand, but I'm switching to 1 striker up front and I don't think Gomis is going to get any sort of a bump to 90 any time soon. Srna may be old, but a 90 is a 90 right now, so the team overall gets upgraded.

S.MANDANDA goalie 91 rated available to the most deserving cash bid

So....whoever Madrid are in this GW threw in an offer for Jonas (Benfica in real life) for cash. I cheekily countered with a straight swap for Payet and......
Gonçalves JONAS has completed his move to Real Madrid from AS Roma in a swap deal for Dimitri PAYET

Madrid are a young kid brand new to the game.

So you are a bad person for taking advantage.

I didn't even look at the manager! Didn't think a newbie would be in charge or the mighty Madrid!

Just to rub salt in the wounds, Payet got the winner 3 minutes from time in the friendly tonight....

Barcelona lost 7 - 6 to KRC Genk in a thrilling Division 1 encounter. Suárez was on the scoresheet for his side. The Barcelona club record for highest scoring league game has been broken. Suárez scored SIX. Some games you don't mind losing.

Begović had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.
Rondón, Ben Yedder and Lombaerts were amongst the goalscorers.

A 2-0 win over Werder Bremen gives Bayer Leverkusen 7 points from their first 9. The squad has been strengthened today with the additions of two 89s in Davide Santon & Salvatore Bocchetti (well he should should be, I accidentally cancelled his counter and then had to re-make as an offer :P )

    Settling in to D1

Swindon Town beat Ajax 3 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

I had to play my cup team due to me forgetting to change it for the last cup match! :pac:

(Not that you wouldn't have beaten the first team anyway going by the way they've been playing this season! :pac: )

I have a few players I'm willing to trade if anyone's interested?

    Player | Age | Rating | Position
    Fernándes Gabi | 32 | 92 | DM,M(C)
    Alessio Cerci | 28 | 90 | AM,F(RLC)
    Federico Marchetti | 32 | 90 | GK
    Riccardo Montolivo | 30 | 90 | DM,M,AM(C)
    Alejandro Gomes | 27 | 89 | AM(RL), F(RLC)
    David Astori | 28 | 89 | D(C)

On a somewhat related note, is anyone selling a goal scoring forward? Other players than the ones mentioned above may become available if a top striker is part of the deal!
