How many houses are in Beachdale? Is there only one VDSL cab? Have you seen much activity from KN around Kilcoole over the last few days?

About 160 in Beachdale, about 30 in Meadowbrook beside it.

This was installed about 2 weeks ago, it's the only new one I have seen here. It looks like it is connected to power. Also some new ducting was laid under the green area then under a road meeting up with an existing eircom "manhole" just up from my house.

Other activity has been reported by some other users above.

I've added a marker: "Entrance to Beachdale, Sea Road, Kilcoole, Co.Wicklow". Not sure if there is a required format.

Ah it's grand I can see it now! Think I had some caching issues.

Edit: Actually, just wondering, there are two markers in Beechdale, are they individual cabinets are duplicates?

I added a VDSL box that was just installed last week in Cavan to the temporary map, which has since disappeared without appearing on the main map. I was going to add a few more that have popped up around the town but since it is obviously not appreciated I'll not be bothering now. Good luck in your future mapping.

Did you check the other pages? I see a small bunch of cabinets in cavan on page 6, are they yours?

Bigger setup here, they must have added a second bigger green cab + two VDSL cabs in the last cuple of weeks, the power boxes are in place as well.

Thanks for getting back. Mine was keadue. Sorry about that it is not showing on my browser for some reason. Was gonna add the rocklands one also but I guess someone got there first.

Added one on the Mill Road in Midleton just past the entrance to Tir Cluain.

Interestingly there is another old style green cabinet just inside the entrance to Tir Cluain but no sign of a VDSL cab near it yet.

I drove into Kilcoole on Monday to see the progress and noticed the one in Beachdale is fully done, as a previous poster had stated, there are fibre and electrical wires coming out of the ground in both the main street one and Lott Lane.

Has the main street cabinet went in as well? Do you know if there are any more cabinets about? If you see the KN/Eircom team there, ask them when they are making their tracks into Greystones or how long it'll be. Thanks!

Added two cabinets in Blackrock, Cork that were installed in the last few days. Hettyfield exchange according to the boundary map. First activity in the area according to the Google Docs spreadsheet!

Edit: Does anyone know for sure where that exchange is? Hettyfield is a tiny one off the Well road according to the boundary map & streetview, but there's a large eircom building with large microwave transceiver by Pairc Ui Rinn which is in the middle of that boundary.
