Hi, a new website www.theatreireland.com has just been launched, which aims to promote smaller theatre companies & venues.
The site is the only site which lists all theatre on in Dublin & RoI - you can click a date and see what shows are on for that date, or filter by venue, or by province.

If you'd like your show to be listed please email: info at theatreireland dot com. We would also be very happy to do a post (eg. Q&A) to promote your company / show / venue. The site also has a section showing theatre-related articles in online media sources, and a discussion board.

The idea is to try and give a bit of publicity to shows that never get featured in mainstream media, & to hopefully encourage more people to go to the theatre.

We'd also be keen to do features on individual actors/directors/sound/lighting /writers, basically anyone involved in theatre.
You could just be starting out or you could be Tom Vaughan Lawlor :-)

We'll give it a couple of months, if there hasn't been much interest in it, then we may do a quiet shuffle off-stage. If you could spread the word that would be fab, or if you had any suggestions to improve the site, that'd be great too (& if we've missed any venues or upcoming shows, please let us know). Thanks a lot.
