    I remember Ledley king doing something similar against Man Utd and the goal being disallowed... Not quite sure how the ref gave it but yeh long way to go yet...

    Seeing it again the ref had the perfect view. My only guess is that Vertonghen was moving backwards to the ref thought the contact wasnt enough but Jagielka clearly uses Vertinghen to elevate himself and prevent Vertonghen from getting to the ball. Foul all day in my books.

    No one seems to be willing to attempt a through ball. Loads of times where there have been decent runs on, but we take the easy option or shoot. We've had a lot of possession, but as always we are seriously lacking up front.

    Sloppy enough game, perhaps a moment of magic from Siggy or Dembele could win it, equally sloppy defending or another set-piece could lose it, i'd say it'll be a nervy 2nd half.

    he make a couple of great runs where he would have been through 1 on 1 with keeper had the passes came to him :cool:

    but other than that I havnt seen him at all:o

    What sort of defending was that? Vertonghen spending too much time with Gallas in the training ground.

    Miraculous if we manage to even get a point now. Might aswell stick Ceballos on.

    This is true. Holtby is a flop and so is Dempsey.

    Luckily for us, the Chelsea game has been postponed for a bit as they're still in the FA Cup. Not that it'll make a difference as our season is falling apart in front of our eyes.

    Parker gets elbowed in the face and no freekick. Fair play to him for not going crazy at the ref. how he missed that ill never know.
