Voadone at home broadband setup problem

    i got a call from the sales rep in vodafone to switch over to the 24mb broadband line over 4 weeks ago.
    i was with ripple only getting 5 mb per month and thought sure why not.:D
    since then, there have been problems.
    eircom were quite quick in installing the phone line.
    the huawei modem took over 4 weeks to arrive.
    (it was supposed to be setup in a 3 week period):(
    when i switched it on, it would not provide a ip address.
    (I work in IT so i know how things work)
    rang their technical support to test the line and they said after all the setup that had been done that there were no ports available on the exchange and to ring back the next day as it was a sunday and somebody should be able to help on a eek day.
    still no luck and still waiting.
    any vodafone engineers online who can help?:confused:
