He might have to apologise if Billy Hawkes, Data Protection Commissioner finds that he breached the Data Protection Act, it would have been far better if he had apologised today instead.

If that happened in Britian, the MP would be sacked, I bet.

I don't expect Alan Shatter to resign over this, but I do expect him to apologise. He is so arrogant, he wants to deflect attention from himself and blame everyone else.

I think you're right about the UK, they seem to be more willing to do the honourable think and resign when they get into trouble.

Andrew Mitchell, the former government chief whip is a good example, he resigned a few weeks after swearing at police officers in Downing Street.

Alan Shatter's half @rsed apology to Mick Wallace

And are Apple using their Irish bases to avoid paying tax?

Shatter's apology couldn't even be described as half-@rsed. More like non-existent. Wallace is no saint either (he's in my constituency), but nothing excuses Shatter's outburst

Garrett was a great man for wearing odd socks. I can't say too much about it though, I remember being at work one lunch time and noticing that I had one black boot and one brown boot on

He travelled all around Europe stuffing his face with fish too for a t.v. programme a few years ago. He was at more than fish though by the looks of him as he's fading away into an elephant.
