It's really bizarre the levels of pay they get. I'm sure they mean well, but can't they do their job for under 100k at least?

Hello, it is all to do with greed. They have been exposed, and they don't like it.

I nearly choked on my tea when I said exactlty that & a work colleague responded with the "but to get the best CEO ......."
Lord but we've been well & truly brainwashed - poor Lady Goulding must be spinning in her grave.

The "if we pay peanuts, we get monkeys" is well embedded alright. We pay loads and still get monkeys.

    Nice neutral, balanced introduction there.

Last week he said he is slow to give his personal opinion on topics!!

FG and Labour obviously know the score.

He doesn't understand what Coffey is saying. Are you surprised?

Was watching programme, just switched it off. Perfectly understandable why the Govt. would supply no representative to fuel Mr.Browne's blood sport hobby of lambasting, ridiculing and trying to humiliate the Government parties at every possible opportunity.

The government doesn't need Vincent Browne for that. It can do that itself quite nicely.

what is perfectly understandable is that the Govt have no balls

Enda Kenny making an address is news to me. Why does RTE allow this?

    Pravda, no choice.

I'm glad Vincent doesn't read the news.....it would take two hours to read the headlines!

I'm really getting fed up of Vincent constantly pushing his crazy leftie views whilst pretending to be an impartial chair of the discussion. The program is getting too be just a soapbox for Vincent's friends.

Opposition parties will be given the opportunity to reply. The format has already been agreed.

    I think this is the right forum for this quote;

Well! If it was said on television it must be true ! .. Garfield.

Enda should go on the show and defend his party.
Would love to see that. :D

It's about time people saw through that spoofer. I wonder how much Enda's advisors get paid every year, seeing as they're the ones who are really running the country.

There's a special Vincent Browne on tonight at 22.30 to offer analysis on the address by Enda Kenny.

WTF? a 30 second intro and an ad break right away?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,198 ✭✭✭Good loser

Suppose we'll get the 'single transferrable speech' from Joe.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

Seems strange watching Vinnie on a Sunday night.

Brian Hayes looks like a fella the morning after his grad.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,317 ✭✭✭✭hotmail.com

Totally pointless speech - RTE should have refused him the free air time.

I actually remember him the morning after his grad !

We went to the same school.

Although he was a couple of years ahead of me.
I had to get bit that in !!!

It really must be a special occasion, Joe is back in his suit

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

I missed the speech tonight. Too busy watching the X Factor final, which probably had more gravitas than Enda's speech anyway.
