Women's Lib programme next month. I expect Nell McCafferty will be among the audience. I'll be washing my hair that night.

The country will be awash with burning bras.......:D

That show was fairly disappointing. I thought they might discuss possible solutions, instead it was the same auld rubbish sycophants and delusional socialist.

Just saw the last hour of it, an audience of whingers mixed with people who never worked a day in their life.

I think this review fairly sums up my own view of last nights shambles:

LAST NIGHT VB TOTAL DISASTER!!!!!! Hope Vincent looks at tape of show and, as an intelligent man, drastically re-develops concept before next one. Is it really possible though to revamp it?....if it is as billed for "ordinary" people, then all opportunist and self-promoting politicians -(current or aspiring), pressure groups of all hues ( most seem to being various degrees of Left) should be excluded.....but then, how do you find "ordinary" people? Vincent has a lot of reflecting to do and ignore the tweets last night which supposedly thought it was brilliant.....amazing

Marc Coleman must be going mad that he's not chairing the discussion and his "Yes Man" Bill Tormey isn't with him tonight.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

We won't know if Coleman is right until 2020....

He will be making an appearance at some stage.
But yeah, got off very lightly with his massive pension.

Paid for by the taxpayer/citizen. What a joke of a country.

That Ceracraft stuff looks way too good to be true.

The main plank for the defence in the Anglo case is that the Regulator approved of what they were doing. Either they have documentary proof of that or they don't. I suspect that they don't. It would short-circuit the whole trial if they brought Neary in now and let him confirm or deny what The Anglo guys are claiming!

Weren't they all supposed to be "putting on the green shirt" at the time? ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if the government of the day was consulted about the whole thing. It would be great to see some of those fcukers being implicated, but this is Ireland so it won't ever happen.

This is the legal "profession" - now why would they want to do that? It's in their interest to drag it out as long as possible.
