Maybe but he voted with his conscience and even if he's wrong in his views I would give him a certain amount of respect for doing that.

I'd be of the opinion he bottled it when the rosary bead brigade got to him .. consequently I have very little regard for him.

    Reynolds was a disgrace today.

Reynolds is a disgrace EVERY day........

I don't agree. If you disagree with what they voted for, then I don't get this great respect, particularly on that issue, i.e. saving women's lives.

But anyway, The Mirror reporter is deluded.

    Absolutely awful reporting.

Perhaps he was able to make up his own mind on the subject?

Vincent can argue both sides of an argument on different nights as if his life depended on it.
    Brutal presenter but entertaining.

    I miss Fionnan.
    Ridiculous that VB banned him.
Hypocritical given VB's beloved "we asked so-and-so to come on the program but they declined..." shtick.

I would find it more honorable than politicians who take the party line and drop their own heartfelt views in order to keep their positions.

Very lob-sided programme with everyone in the same camp.

In fairness all the ministers TD's and even senators were asked to appear, but every one of them was 'unavailable'

    That only left Noel Whelan!

    Hate that stupid VW ad.

Vinnie not mentioned Paul Reynolds, although it was implied he was speaking about Reynolds after the shootings.

Which, at this stage, is the entire 'other camp'. :)

Vinnie's guest list recently seems to consist of people who agree with his own take on things....!

They should have sent Damien English and an interpreter.

He only ever appears with Sean Fleming. They're a great double act ;)

    lob-sided

I'd suggest you should be made a social piranha for that, but I fear it might turn into a damp squid.

In that last photo, both of them could really do with a hairbrush, or in Wallace's case, a yardbrush.

Years into this Dail term and people still commenting on certain TDs' appearances and what they wear, rather than what they say.

Someone else said it on another thread, so credit to them - but Alan Shatter looks like a bold child being made to apologise to his mother - head down and refusing to look up or make eye-contact. Talk about a mealy-mouthed apology
