Vincent is in a good mood tonight. Unfortunately Joanna might wriggle off the hook.

Has Joanna's accent become a bit posher than it used to be?

Its a bit ridiculous having someone representing the government keep saying "I don't Know".

"...if we were starting again, we wouldn't start from here....".

This is the excuse that is always used when someone doesn't want to change anything!

This should be fun. Joanna Tuffy will be like a lamb to the slaughter once Vinnie gets stuck in to her.

Car crash stuff. Vincent is trying to get her to say Quinn's proposals are wrong and she got so flustered avoiding the question she turned bright red. Literally. She got redder and redder. It is ofte said Vincent can smell blood but tonight he could see it.

Has much stuff has to come out about the Catholic Church for parents in Ireland to remove their children from Catholic schools.

That is the famous Kerry joke, someone asks for directions to Dingle, he replied "well if you want to go to Dingle, I wouldn't start from here". Who picks the panel for this show, roll on the UTV launch and put pressure on $hite like this.

    "Religious symbols".

And Tarzan's girlfriend sitting next to her with the Jesus sticks around her neck.

The priest doesn't think Catholic schools are trying hard enough to brainwash the kids.

Faith formation sounds like something out of Nazi Germany in the 1930s.

Vinny's religion show fetish is tiresome.

Reducing the water pressure of people who cannot/will not pay is the lowest of the low. It's a public health issue at the very least.

7 minute ad break now followed by a witty remark by Davis and a glimpse of VB before the closing credits.

Roll on the UTV launch, and deprive that crowd of their soap largess.

    Godwin's Law strikes again.

Speaking of Godwin's Law, that priest (Vincent Twomey) claims that atheism is responsible for Nazism. The man's a raving lunatic.

No church should be allowed to have any involvement in state funded education. If people want their children to be indoctrinated with that kind of rubbish, they should do it in their own time.

He has to wear the likes of that, or no one would comment about him. Like Gerry Ryan talking about wan£in, failed entities. At least Larry Gogan went with dignity.

Glorious UTV and their high quality programming :pac:

Maybe they'll replace Vincent with Julian Simmons.

I got a pretty good education from The Christian Brothers, and so did many others. For many years, the State abrogated its responsibility towards education and left it in the hands of the religious, for financial reasons as much as anything else. There are many people out there who would have been deprived of a decent education if it wasn't for the Christian Brothers and nuns, but it's not fashionable to say that any more.

More like no church should want to be involved in state education. Let Minister Quinn and his agnostic buddies in government, provide, fund, manage and resource the entire education system and infrastructure. I'm sure the churches have better things to be doing with their resources. Lets see how far replacing catholic/christian ideology with labour ideology gets us !!

That's good, but you are entitled to criticise the Church's current and past failings as well as point out the issues regarding religion in schools. It won't upset your God.

I'm just trying to instil a bit of balance as a counterpoint to your continuous (and frankly tiresome at this stage) Church-bashing.

Your point didn't provide any balance to the current discussion on religion in schools.

You should always leave it to others to judge the quality of your education, you are too involved. ;)
