I'd prefer that the decisions regarding wacky baccy weren't made locally tbh. We'll end up being 20 years behind Europe on it if we go own that road.

She might be a first cousin of Ursula "hands" Halligan.

The new CAP was designed by FG (Ireland had the presidency of the EU) where the farmer on a small payment would get little extra so those farmers on high payments would have to take as little cut as possible...supported by the IFA whose top people are on high payments...

Eamon Gilmore was tweeting in under that false account in support of Lorraine. :P

Lorraine Higgins definitely wins the award for best legs of the night, although she wasn't up against much in the way of opposition. I'd be willing to bet that Mairead McGuinness's legs are as hairy as Ronan Mullen's.

Canvassers don't even bother knocking at the door anymore, especially the b@stards from Fine Gael and Labour.

They want our votes and yet they're afraid to engage with us. Cowards.
I've had Sinn Fein at my door twice and no other party. The reason the SF canvasser came back was because I asked him a question and he didn't know the answer at the time. Fair play to the chap.

yeah, I've only had Shinners and this evening a new FF'er. she came back down the road to the house after I collared her colleague about a trivial matter!
    Missed a bit of telly. . .

Hopefully UTV is not to far away before its launch, and put pressure on the likes of $hite we had to put up with tonight.

Two panels tonight. One for men and one for women.

They really are trying to squeeze too much in, between the six minute ad breaks and the look at tomorrow's papers.
