You'd want to be pretty naïve to think election promises are kept, or else be it your first time voting.

I don't believe any of them and never have BUT they fooled the young student vote by promising not to rise the college fees and they will pay the price with those young voters forever.

A junior infants class would be better behaved and would make more sense than this lot.

Expect a blitz on them. They turned on their own voters. Did they keep even one of their election promises?

My own little grey tayto did the Uni thing with Labour, thinking it would make a change, I respected the view, they canvassed for RQuinn and when he was in ten minutes and U-Turned on the fee's issue they collectively - in their innocence - could not believe it.

The Labour Party made a lot of enemies that year....

    And so it goes on...

I lived in D15 many years ago. I always voted for Joe Higgins and Ruth Coppinger. I am not a Socialist, not a mad leftie, not an anti establishment person.

If I was still there I would again vote for Ruth.

I think we could do with a dictatorship for a few years to give us a break from the assorted donkeys that we have been listening to for the last few nights! What a pathetic shower.
