I wonder of they'd accept €500 million worth of Barry's Tea instead?

    I would. :D

He sounds like a car salesman selling you a finance package on a car that's only €299 a month for a car worth €20k, he negates to explain you will end up paying back multiples of the cost of the car over the lifetime of the finance deal.

Is there even a teapot that you could put it in?

FG kicked the can down the road, that is why Kelly would not answer.

So it's basically between Clune and Harris for the fourth seat. No wonder Clune is piling the money in to get elected.

If Clune is elected, that'll mean that all the MEPs in the South constituency are from either Cork or Kerry.

Jan Van Den Ven - okayyyyyyy

We have €14k each to pay back, accept it, it won't be changing, ever.

Can I pay mine in a lump? :pac:

I reckon we should all vote for Jan. The French and Germans would be fierce confused when they'd hear an Irish MEP with a Yankee accent and a Dutch name.

    You tell him Kenny Rogers

He is probably giving a blast of The Gambler now during the break

Listening to my parents give out about the fact that there's a non-Irishman running is really annoying me, who cares where he's from as long as he (hopefully) does a good job!?

I don't believe any of these f*ckers give a **** about the people of this country career politicians angling for a jolly in Europe and an inflated sense of their own importance

their desire to represent is not driven by a sense of duty but a sense of entitlement and arrogance

What does Theresa think about the bank guarantee?

Sort of reminds you of the kid in the comics many years ago in Holland, with his finger in the dam.

I agree, but only we can change it and our general populous is too stupid to make a change so it will never happen.

I think the MEP's should be representative of all the Counties they represent in the South constituency - we have 1 in Tipperary, mad Phil Prendergast. Not popular but if we only have one recognised face to pick from, she'll get a big Tipperary vote. But what about Waterford/Limerick/Kilkenny/Clare/Laois etc. Very unbalanced

She actually makes a bit of sense there, if we had some money it would actually be worth considering.

    Won't happen though.
