Conservatives aren't in favour of change unless it's absolutely necessary in their view, that's the definition of a conservative! They generally dislike and resist reform.

The World Health Organisation through their doctors have recommended 21 units of alcohol per week for men (not all in the one night) so that we will have no illnesses in later years brought on by excessive drinking.

2 units in every pint so that's 10.5 pints a week for men, 14 units per week for females (7 pints).

6 units at a time is binge drinking i.e 3 pints.
