Michael McDowell had ample time in government to reform the Seanad, but he wanted to abolish it. Now he wants to retain it. He's had more flip flops than Judith Chalmers.
Harry, I thought Vic Watson was joking when he congratulated you on your 50th birthday but now I'm not so sure :D

I think your reference to Judith Chalmers gave you away a bit. Wasn't she on the telly box during the 60s and 70s :p

    Sam bores me to tears.
Hope Vinny is back as he might rile McGuinness.

Vinnie should've asked him about the quilted toilet paper.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,298 ✭✭✭✭hotmail.com

Nice holiday for him and his wife paid for by the State.

The son getting that over-time seems like fraud?

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

Nobody does an "act of graciousness" when they're on the Dail gravy train.

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,403 ✭✭✭✭vicwatson

Vinnie should've asked him about the quilted toilet paper.
    He might yet !

That McGuinness is a joke altogether. A sick joke !

  • Registered Users Posts: 49,731 ✭✭✭✭coolhull

Why don't you throw away that shovel and stop digging, John?

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,403 ✭✭✭✭vicwatson

He actually lives on planet 9.

He really doesn't get that this controversy could posssibly conflict with his position as Chairman of the public accounts committee.

    He really doesn't get it

John thinks he's a patsy now

Vinnies like a parent scolding a bold child.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,197 ✭✭✭Good loser

So what Vincent considers important everybody else should.

His priorities should be tiered in the same way by everyboby else.

    Rubbish from beginning to end.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

Even if McGuinness's son worked hard for that overtime, the optics of it are all wrong. Just goes to show how arrogant they are. McGuinness should have taken on another person to cover for the staff member's maternity leave.

Vinny on the back foot here :pac:
