You might think he has 'proper facts' and he started off by saying let's examine the facts.

Yet when he was called on some of those facts it turns out there were counter facts and his details were dodgy to say the least.

In his riff he said 'in the last twelve months bondholders were paid €26 bn'. Notice how he didn't say we paid bondholders €26 bn.

He also omitted the counter fact that bondholders paid/gave us €26bn in the same twelve months.

So over 2 years into the lifetime of the Government yer man comes on and tells us we have been given "hope".

He looked like a rabbit in the headlights when presented with some figures, I doubt he will be wheeled out in front of the cameras again any time soon.

hmmmm... The Sean Quinn stuff should be interesting.. Surprising we havent heard his opinions on the Anglo tapes... If Drummer / Fitzpatrick / Bowe etc were saying that sort of stuff about the Government, can you imagine what they were saying about Sean Quinn... Surely there must be tapes about how they were duping him as well..

A wee bird (close to Quinn camp) tells me, that allegedly, what the tapes contain about Quinn is explosive and is being heavily scrutinised by legals.
Will be interesting to see what that is but I can imagine. Central bank might have a few red faces too allegedly.
