We need more women, really? Mary Hanafin, Mary Coughlan, Mary Harney, Mary O'Rourke .. ? The problem is the TYPE of people who get in to political life, not the sex..

    "And from us tonight...... "

Do I have to tune in tomorrow night for the rest of that sentence?

The Mooney Show has the exclusive rights to the story.

With the exception of Harney, their fathers were all TDs or senators. We do need more women in politics - but preferably not women whose only qualification is that their parents were senior members of Fianna Fail.

Mary O'Rouke's father was never a TD or senator.

I believe the number of comments or lack of comments shows how dull and boring the show is tonight?

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,308 ✭✭✭✭hotmail.com

Alison's example of a couple in their 60s was bizarre. Everyone knows the worst affected are people in their 30s/40s. Is she being deliberately silly tonight?

Fergus Finlay and his "But porn is BAD" argument is being made to look like an archaic dinosaur.

someone trying to dictate what other people can access online and he's never heard of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

Challenging God on TV3 now. Vinny asking why people remain as Catholics given the numerous scandals over the last 20 years and the Church's continued attitude to women and lesbian and gay people.

The male panelists want dialogue and women to be heard. Then they say women becoming priests is off the table, no discussion on it.

Ger Colleran, Managing Editor of the Irish Daily Star is standing in for Vinny this week.

I'm not a fan of the man but he did a very good job the last time he was a guest presenter.

Love the way Pathscal never deviates from the political line.
It's like he is being controlled remotely.

Ger is not much good at chairing a discussion. He is too anxious to get his own point of view across.

He is streets ahead of Sam Smyth and Alison O'Connor as a presenter.
